I am not a person in a body in a world of separate people and things. There are no people; there is no world.
I am God’s Son, the One Christ Mind.
But since the “separation,” which is my ego belief that I sinned by usurping God, I have been asleep and dreaming. The script of the world is written. I do not attempt to change the world; rather I change my mind about the world.
As a split mind, I have only one creative choice: whether to look on the unfolding script through the ego or through the Holy Spirit. In my relationships I have the opportunity to recognize my projected attack thoughts and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
The Holy Spirit’s purpose is forgiveness, seeing the false as false. When I see that my beliefs, thoughts and perceptions are false, my mind lets them go, and the Holy Spirit replaces them with a shift in perception, a miracle. Miracles are brief experiences of God’s Love that lead ultimately to the Atonement.
My sole responsibility is to accept the At-one-ment, the recognition that the separation never took place, and awaken to the peace of God.
To train my mind to a state of miracle-readiness, I must question all my values; I must understand the dynamics of the ego thought system and recognize its workings.
